Saadia Basit, DMD
Dr. Saadia Basit is a dedicated dentist with a passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care. A graduate of Boston University, Dr. Basit has pursued extensive continuing education in Invisalign, implants, and aesthetic dentistry to stay at the forefront of her field. Beyond clinical expertise, she takes great pride in forming genuine connections with her patients, many of whom she considers friends over time. Her professional journey includes owning a practice near Boulder, Colorado, for four years before moving to Texas in 2012. Today, she carries on the legacy of Dr. Prida with a practice founded on honesty, integrity, and trust.
Dr. Basit’s commitment to her community extends beyond her practice walls. She serves on the board of MCC-HS, a nonprofit organization providing medical and dental services, where she oversees a free dental clinic. Her dedication to building relationships and helping others feel whole is at the heart of her work, making dentistry not just a profession but a deeply rewarding vocation. When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Basit enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband and two boys. Born in Saudi Arabia to a family of eight siblings—three doctors and a dentist—she grew up valuing education and service. She now lives in Plano, TX, where she gardens, explores local coffee shops, and indulges in semi-dark chocolate after busy days. She also enjoys traveling, long park walks, light weightlifting, and evenings with Netflix. Her tabby cat, Peshow, keeps her company at home with quirky antics, adding joy to her already full life.
